A bit about the Lights

The Lights were the 1st team to come under the umbrella of WCFC, created for the sons of the founding members of the club.  The team started as our U10’s in the 2021/2022 season and have been progressing and developing as a team.  Managed initially by Nik Tassi-Giles and David Turton, a change of managers since with Elisha Lloyd and now Adam Gaine, who both have added their experience over the last few years.  The Lights are WCFC most successful team, as you can see through the honours that they have won since being created.  An amazing group of lads that are committed, honest, enthusiastic and eager to progress, as far as their skills will allow them.

Manager – Nik has managed form mini-kicks up to the current age group U13’s, so has 8 years of experience.  Managing at Arnold Town FC, Calverton Miners Welfare until creating WCFC in 2021.

Manager – Adam started as Manager in the pre-season this year and also has a wealth of football manager experience with clubs in Nottingham, managing teams that his son has been in.
